Responsibilities:Responsible for identifying, researching, and resolving issues in the claims system. Partner with management to communicate recommendations on process and system improvements.
Key Functions will include but not be limited to:
- Responsible for Claims system performance; troubleshoot errors and create system tickets
- Perform all administrative functions of claims system; create new user profiles, update permissions, etc.
- Provide training, support and guidance to claims staff on system functionality
- Perform weekly regulatory reporting
- Identify and process policy errors and information
- Add and/or update vendors in claims system
- Perform claims system testing and verify data feeds
- Provide support and guidance to inter departments as needed
- Collaborate and work with other Berkley companies in segment to prioritize changes/upgrades to claims system
- Bachelors Degree
- 7+ years of workers of claims workers compensation experience (reserving and litigation) and claims systems
- Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task in a fast-pace environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel
- Demonstrated detail orientation with emphasis on accuracy
- Possess excellent critical-thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with a team, collaborate with others, develop positive working relationships
- Ability to remain positive and calm in times of stress
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, determine priorities and adapt to changing priorities as needed
