Position Summary
Performs complex claims support and administrative activities for various disciplines.
- The successful candidate, under minimal supervision, performs more complex claims/zone support and administrative activities. Also performs various systems-related tasks and trains users on ERIE systems.
- Hours will be 8:00-4:30.

Performs more complex claims support and administrative activities for various disciplines.
Duties and Responsibilities
Performs complex support and administrative functions, including but not limited to preparing and processing claims documents and information within established procedures and supports third party relationships and processes.
Handles financial transactions within established procedures.
Trains and mentors.
Performs various system-related tasks; assists in resolving systems problems.
Assists claims personnel with various activities, as required.
Provides inbound and outbound phone support and responds to inquiries from customers, escalates as appropriate.
Coordinates administrative tasks supporting business activities.
Assists supervisor with various tasks including setting schedules and assigning work.
Greets, screens, and directs visitors to appropriate personnel.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or related experience and four years' customer service in a professional setting, administrative, claims support or office experience, required.
Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
Advance knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, email, and calendar scheduling software required.
Ability to type a minimum of 45 words per minute and 100 net data entry keystrokes per minute preferred.
Experience in the insurance industry and completion of insurance designations or classes or certificate in Supervisory Management (SM 18 & SM 19) preferred.
Travel for business and training required.
Valid driver's license preferred.
