We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Claims Examiner to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the finance industry and are looking to take their career to the next level. The successful candidate will play a vital role in handling and resolving high-level claims, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service. This position requires a high level of expertise, precision, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing a portfolio of complex and high-level general liability claims, including property damage claims.
2. Conducting thorough investigations into each claim, gathering all necessary information, and making informed decisions based on the findings.
3. Evaluating the validity of each claim, determining coverage and negotiating settlements where necessary.
4. Providing expert advice and guidance to junior claims examiners, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
5. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and practices to ensure that all work is carried out to the highest possible standard.
6. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring that all their needs are met and that they are kept informed throughout the claims process.
7. Working closely with other departments and teams to ensure a seamless and efficient claims process.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, specifically as a Senior Claims Examiner.
2. Proven experience in handling general liability and property damage claims.
3. Strong investigative skills, with the ability to gather and analyze information effectively.
4. Excellent decision-making skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on the findings of an investigation.
5. Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to negotiate settlements effectively.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
7. A strong understanding of the finance industry, including current trends, regulations, and practices.
8. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
9. The ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
10. A degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
