Senior Civil Engineer (Sr Project Manager) at Mabbett & Associates, Inc.

Mabbett & Associates, Inc. (Mabbett®), an award-winning, industry-leading, environmental, health and safety, and architectural-engineering consulting firm, is seeking a self-motivated, Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing engineering team. 

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of professionals to deliver a wide range of civil and environmental engineering projects.
• Oversee the preparation of engineering designs, reports, and permit applications for various projects.
• Manage existing clients and assist with efforts to attract new clients.
• Mentor and develop technical staff.

This is a hybrid position based out of the firm’s Corporate Headquarters located in Stoneham, MA office.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in private or federal A/E and/or engineering projects.
• Demonstrated managerial and marketing/business development experience.
• Demonstrated technical experience, including managing multi discipline design teams, preparing designs, construction documents, and specifications.
• Interface with client by presenting designs and responding to comments.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) License Required (Massachusetts preferred).
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.
• Excellent organizational and personal communication skills; ability to successfully interact with clients, staff and peers clearly and directly.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check, as well as a pre-employment physical and drug screen, to include cannabis.
• Ability to occasionally travel.
