Job Summary

A well-established organization is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead impactful infrastructure projects. This role involves managing projects that improve roads, bridges, and essential infrastructure, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring public safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate projects involving contractors, utility providers, and local supervisors.
• Supervise traffic studies and long-term infrastructure planning.
• Prepare engineering designs, cost estimates, and oversee the bidding process.
• Ensure all projects meet specifications, standards, and pass thorough final inspections.
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including government units, community partners, and developers, to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years in public works design and construction, with strong project management capabilities.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in CAD, Microsoft Suite, and industry-standard engineering software.
• Licensure: Michigan Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, but not required. Candidates must be willing to pursue PE licensure if not already obtained.
• Additional Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage traffic and intersection studies effectively.

Position Requirements

• Location: Candidates must be local and commutable to Lansing, MI.
• Work Environment: This is an on-site position; no hybrid or remote work options are available.

Compensation

• Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year.
• Benefits: Full benefits package available.
