JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for conducting thorough analysis of Casino Gaming areas. Generate insightful and actionable reports that inform and guide business decisions within the overall Casino Operation. Develop strategies for slot, table game, and arcade operations by leveraging skills in data analysis and technology. Drive operational enhancements to increase revenue and identify areas of improvement, subsequently improving the gaming experience for NCLH guests.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform comprehensive analyses of slot, table game, and arcade operations. Identify trends and opportunities to boost revenue.
- Maintain data accuracy across reporting platforms, ensuring operational efficiency and improved customer experiences. Identify trends and suggest data-backed strategies to enhance game performance and customer engagement.
- Evaluate factors such as participation fees, game arrangement, product mix, and pricing strategies to enhance the profitability of equipment offerings.
- Oversee the usage and integration of various gaming management and tracking systems.
- Generate and present detailed performance reports across various timeframes for slot, table game and arcade operations.
- Partner with Senior Casino Operations Management teams to ensure gaming analytics are in harmony with broader business objectives, as needed.
- Develop targeted data visualizations in Tableau for various business areas within Casino Operations.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Business Administration or Computer Science; or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, and skills.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a casino gaming analytics role, focusing on slots and table games analytics.
- In leu of 3 years' casino gaming analytics experience, 5+ years in Financial Analysis.
- Oracle and/or Snowflake SQL, R, Python experience.
- Tableau experience required. Similar data visualization and/or business intelligence tools experience accepted.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
- Advanced knowledge/proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills needed to effectively communicate with all levels of the Company and external guests.
- Strong analytical skills, with an emphasis on problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Ability to transform complex data insights into actionable business strategies.
- Strong project and time management skills needed to successfully navigate multifaceted responsibilities.
