Job Description:
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Application Engineers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Simcenter or other like software (ANSYS, Abacus, Hypermesh, etc), presales, and post-sales support, be personable and a natural helper with a customer service minded philosophy, thrive in a fast-paced and learning-intensive environment, get a rush from solving challenging problems that other people cannot, and deliver solutions graciously over the phone or in person. Comfortable working autonomously, the candidate wants to see the team succeed and gets satisfaction from knowing that he or she played a critical role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and support for Siemens Simcenter including Star CCM+ products, including troubleshooting and resolving issues dealing with network and software/hardware performance issues
- Provide higher-level technical support to extend our customers' abilities to apply CAE solutions to meet design challenges
- Perform pre/post sales customer support including software demonstrations
- Implement, configure, and customize CAE software to meet business requirements
- Work closely with clients to analyze their current processes, identify areas for improvement, and integrate Siemens Simcenter solutions effectively
- Develop user training materials and conduct training sessions to enhance the adoption of CAE such as Siemens Simcenter tools
- Develop a foundational knowledge of the standards and regulatory requirements which affect the design and manufacture of products
- Contribute to future software releases by prioritizing known product defects and communicate customer feedback to Siemens' product development teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of CAE template and preferences strategies
- Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in CAE
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of our CAE offerings based on customer feedback
- Gain further knowledge of CAD/CAM/CAE/PLM solutions and market needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering
- 3-5 years of experience or more in Simcenter or like software and advanced functionality like automation, CFD, non-linear, random vibration, thermal, and/or multi-physics
- A desire to work in the CAE field focusing on Siemens Simcenter
- Strong understanding of engineering processes and product development cycles
- Experience with engineering tools like CAD, CAM, CAE, PLM
- Proficient in one or more programming or scripting languages or CAE automation
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Project management experience is a plus
- US Citizen for ITAR related work

- Paid Holidays: All full-time employees will receive 8 paid holidays per year. Full-time non-exempt employees receive an extra floater holiday per year.
- Paid Sick time: All full-time employees will receive 32 sick hours per year. Part time employees will receive 24 hours or minimum sick time required by the state.
