Senior C++ Engineer - Philips

About the Job
Allow your passion for improving lives to shine as a Senior C++ Engineer working as part of R&D for Philips Enterprise Informatics organization. You will contribute by successfully developing and supporting our solutions and collaborate with customer facing teams that are supporting the products used by customer / partners.
Your role:
+ Developing system solutions aligned with customer workflow enhancing customer productivity by understanding the interplay of 3rd party applications and Philips PACS and develop solutions to support this eco system
+ Develop solutions to mitigate immediate problems at customer sites as well as develop solutions to enhance the robustness of the product to meet the nonfunctional requirements like performance, scalability and reliability
+ Participate in the design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and defect identification process by participate in scrum team activities, effort estimation, project planning, and daily standups
+ May involve travel (up to 5%) to customer sites to learn about their operations and to understand customer experiences and suggest resolutions to their problems
+ Researching and using newer tools and technologies that will help us improve our product and serve our customers better; Apply the learnings from customer experiences to develop better services and solutions
You're the right fit if:
+ You have a BSEE/BSCE/BSCS or equivalent in Computer Science or related field with 7+ years of Software Development Experience
+ You’ve acquired strong problem-solving and debugging skills; Focused experience with PACS / DICOM / HL7 / EMR or related technology
+ You’re primary programming skills in C++, C#, SQL and web technologies (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, ASP.NET, etc.); hands-on work with Wireshark preferred
+ You have experience both consuming and the development of new webservices; good knowledge of algorithms and data structures
+ Experience working with customers and partners in a fast-paced startup / new ventures type environment
+ You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office/Remote position

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Pay Transparency
The pay range for this position in MA is $117,600 to $201,600 USD.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits _will not_ be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Cambridge, MA.
