About the Job
As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you’ll be the subject matter expert for all things SaaS at Datadog.
You will help ensure consistency, quality and availability across the systems teams through a combination of policy, process and tooling.
To make sure Datadog is getting the most out of our third party SaaS, you will be a critical part of the procurement process, ensure our current investments are optimized, and identify opportunities to introduce value-adding services to our portfolio, including GenAI/LLM products. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.What You’ll Do:Support the deployment, administration and integration of SaaS across all of Datadog, ensuring governance and compliance with our organizational policiesReview system configurations, data integrity, and business processes and make recommendations to stakeholders on ways to optimize systems, improve workflowsParticipate in the selection and implementation of SaaS vendors to ensure the technology solutions are cost-effective, scalable, and aligned with business objectivesAssess and optimize spending on SaaS platforms, implementing strategies to maximize efficiency and reduce costs without compromising on quality or capabilityCollaborate with stakeholders across the company to identify requirements, gaps, and opportunities within our SaaS portfolioStay updated on the latest developments in SaaS applications and emerging technologies, including GenAI and LLM, to continuously improve and innovate Datadog’s SaaS portfolioWho You Are: In-depth knowledge of SaaS products, their implementation, and managementFamiliarity with security, privacy, and compliance standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR, SOC, ISO)Prior experience in a technical role within an IT or Engineering departmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersProblem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issuesExperience in managing projects, particularly those involving multiple stakeholders and complex integrationsDatadog values people from all walks of life.
