Responsibilities:POSITION: Senior Business System Analyst
WORK LOCATION: Durham, NC. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere within the U.S.
JOB DUTIES: Analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Identify gaps and provides technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scale new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost effective manner. Configure system settings and options; plan and execute unit, integration and acceptance testing to meet business requirements. Design details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. Work with cross-functional teams to support and maintain solutions and address business or systems issues in an enterprise-wide production system using agile principles and methodologies. Respond to a broad range of service requests by engaging with end users to investigate, diagnose, and resolve their concerns. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere within the U.S.
Qualifications:REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a Computer Systems Analyst-related occupation, including 5 years of experience in each of the following:
- ServiceNow administration and development
- Working with offshore teams
- Creating dashboards for performance analytics
- Developing and customizing ITIL modules
- Developing Web Services using REST and SOAP
- Software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, coding, testing, production support, and documentation
- Using JavaScript, AngularJS, and SQL
All experience may be gained concurrently.
