In the role of Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, forging strong relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategies to enter new markets. You will utilise your expertise to influence and drive our business agenda forward.
This is an office-based role either in Pasadena or Brooklyn.
Key Responsibilities
Find and recruit new sellers of popular sneakers and fashion items, using industry contacts to streamline the process.
Stay informed about the latest trends in the U.S. sneaker and fashion markets to target the right sellers.
Work with marketing, product management, and logistics teams to align seller acquisition with the company's business strategies.
Monitor seller performance, support them in meeting sales goals, and ensure success for both sellers and the company.
Analyze sales data to optimize seller performance and product offerings.
Negotiate pricing and terms with potential sellers to secure beneficial agreements.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within fashion, apparel, or luxury goods.
Fluent in English.
Strong connections with sneaker brands and resellers.
Passionate about sneakers, with a deep understanding of the sneaker and fashion industry.
Established network with sneaker brands and resellers, essential for driving business opportunities.
Strong networking skills within the sneaker community, including connections with resellers and streetwear brands.
Familiarity with sneaker market trends and dynamics, particularly in major urban areas.
Results-driven and goal-oriented mindset.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Data-driven, with strong analytical thinking.
Collaborative team player, eager to work with cross-functional teams.
