S³, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Developer to join the team at our HQ in Cummings Research Park, Huntsville, AL. This position reports to the Director of Business Development.
Description:
The Business Developer leads activities, travel, coordination and produces reports required for a contract award response to a Government and/or prime contractor RFI, RFP, and RFQ. Activities follow the Shipley model for capture and include pursuit and bid and proposal processes.
Responsibilities:
- Tracks and materializes bid opportunities through teaming, reviewing bid boards, tracking company awarded IDIQ opportunity boards, GOVWIN, etc.
- Records and updates opportunity status in OneTeam.
- Prepares capture plan IAW S3, following policy the Shipley model.
- Constructs Pursuit and Bid and Proposal cost and schedule estimates to gain support resources.
- Engages with current and future potential customers in this field and others as opportunities are identified to maximize probability of win.
- Presents corporate briefings to current and future potential customers .
- Attends Industry Days for potential opportunities.
- Responds to Sources Sought, RFIs, and RFPs.
- Leads proposal and/or color reviews as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience performing in a quality controlled environment such as ISO/AS9100.
- 10 years of experience as a DOD Capture Manager.
- 10 years of experience with the FAR.
- Experience leading a proposal team for a contract valued over $100M.
- Experience performing cradle to grave as a capture proposal manager.
- Experience managing a high revenue portfolio program or project of record in the military, government, or private sector valued at $100M or more annually.
- Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
