The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) department drives the company’s annual planning and budgeting cycle and is central to the Bank’s executive management reporting, financial forecasts, profitability assessment, and incentive plan performance reporting activities.
The Senior Business Data Analyst will support FP&A’s reporting, dashboarding, and automation development efforts. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable wrangling and reconciling data with exceptional SQL and Excel skills. Responsibilities:- Act as a thought leader on data projects, conceptualizing and implementing models/solutions
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL scripts, ETL pipelines, dashboards
- Perform ad-hoc and repeatable analysis to measure and interpret business trends
- Troubleshoot and root cause data anomalies
- Support reconciliation and validation processes between multiple system sources
- Drive efficiency by streamlining and automating recurring procedures
- Perform system administrator-level tasks for various applications
- Effectively communicate and document (technical and non-technical) requirements/analysis
- 3-6 years of professional experience in a financial, business, or data analytical role
- Advanced Microsoft SQL skills (aggregate & window functions, nested joins, query optimization)
- Advanced Excel skills (lookups, nested functions, pivots, VBA exp a plus)
- Basic Python skills (operators, loops, lists)
- Data visualization experience (Power BI, Tableau, pivot chart, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and organization skills
- Able to handle ambiguity, tight deadlines, and competing objectives
