RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leverage BA expertise to support the development process of the new Salesforce application
- Lead the collection, capture, and management of mission user needs
- Assess and support user needs (i.e., prioritization, concept development, and user story writing)
- Use Agile program management tracking tools to leverage Agile and Scrum methodologies and best practices
- Support requirements prioritization and backlog grooming sessions
- Coordinate with engineers to ensure successful systems integration
- Ensure all project guidance, work products, and documents are updated and posted to a common document repository
- Collaborate with the product owner and users to determine the operational objectives of needs and requirements
- Translate complex business processes into clear and actionable user stories with acceptance criteria
- Work with IT and mission stakeholders to review, update, and maintain a business process roadmap of the to-be system
- Evaluate areas of reengineering by outlining potential to-be processes
- Validate application functionality and support quality assurance testing
- Assist with client and system user documentation (i.e., user manuals, system admin manuals, and training guides)
- Define, develop, adjust, and implement program management processes to meet government and industry standards
- Identify and assess operational inefficiencies
- Develop recommendations on business process improvements
- Support the implementation and monitoring activities
- Advise and provide expertise in identifying and evaluating new technologies and associated processes
- Provide comprehensive, testable, and traceable process components in several formats (i.e., Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, Data Requirements, System Software Specifications, Use Cases, etc. )
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- 6 years of relevant experience
- 2 years of Salesforce experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience supporting new application development within Salesforce
- Exp. with Agile development methodologies, user story creation, scrum, etc.
- Exp. with integrating internal data models to external data systems
- Exp. in Salesforce Service Cloud with a focus on application integration preferred
- Exp. with MuleSoft and data pipelines preferred
BACKGROUND
- Progressive and relevant experience
- Accredited Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Professional preferred
- Preferred certs: Certified Scrum Master, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline

- Primarily remote — must be available to report on-site within 1 business day if requested

Regularly required to sit for extended periods up to 100% of the time; frequently required to move about to access file cabinets and use office equipment such as PC, copier, fax, telephone, cell phone, etc. Occasionally required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 10 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the use of computer monitor screens up to 100% of the time.
