Job Background
Client Corporate Treasury and Client Treasury Investments (CTI) have developed and implemented a comprehensive response to Dodd-Frank Title VII and Title VI (Volcker Rule) in order to ensure and demonstrate compliance with US financial regulatory reform legislation. While Client Corporate Treasury and CTI do not operate traditional customer-facing businesses, the size and scope of their derivatives activities are in scope for compliance with both titles of the Dodd-Frank Act. As such, Client Corporate Treasury and CTI are seeking an individual to assist in overseeing currently established Volcker and DFA-Title VII controls as well as contribute to the optimization and expansion of the Volcker support function within CTI Analytics.
Job Description
The CTI Analytics - Regulatory Analyst will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day controls framework and compliance processes introduced by the Volcker Rule. The individual in this role will additionally act in Business Analysis capacity in an effort to improve current and/or establish new processes, procedures and control frameworks required by the rule and/or CTI Management. The Regulatory analyst will actively contribute to the Volcker Support Function within CTI Analytics by performing various tasks - including but, not limited to - data analysis and trending, issue resolution and reporting, internal process documentation, gap analysis, and process improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
Work with and provide support to CTI Analytics - Regulatory Lead
Assume responsibility for executing daily, weekly, and Monthly DFA and Volcker Rule control routines
Ensure timely and accurate filings of the Monthly Volcker Quantitative Metrics
Review and Analyze daily hedging activity to ensure compliance with Non-Trading requirements
Contribute to Improvement of CTI's Key Risk Indicators and data trends reporting.
Conduct Gap analysis and/or process documentation and visualization.
Provide periodic updates to senior management and front-office personnel
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree + 4-5 years of experience in a Business Analysis/Change Management/Process Improvement functions
Good Understanding of Financial Markets, Trade Management and Derivatives Valuation.
Exposure to regulatory change initiatives preferred.
Strong analytical abilities
Proficient in MS Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
Ability to manage multiple tasks under strict timelines and deliver quality results.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to visualize/communication complex processes in clear and concise manner.
