Duration - 3++ months (strong potential for extension)
Location - New Castle, DE 19720
Rate - $59.66/HR on W2 (OT past 40 hours = $89.49/HR)
Job Description:
Participate in knowledge sharing sessions and acquire business knowledge of all existing EUCs. (End User Computing - access database based).
- Review, document and maintain operating procedures for all EUCs.
- Create and maintain a version of the Access DB in a different shared folder to be managed to production standards (Production version of Access DB is the one that will be used to create Journals every month) for all code certification. As part of SDLC, own and maintain obfuscation (GEID scrambling mechanism) logic to avoid data compromise on the technology side. This version will also act as a recovery copy if the production version ends up being corrupted.
- Participate and certify enhancements, changes and fixes whenever released for any EUC.
- Manage all ad hoc reporting, data analysis, forecasting/projection modeling requirements.
- Be responsible for data and data quality within EUCs - acquiring, loading, reconciling, exception reporting, sending to downstream systems.
- Create and manage monthly calendar for Equity Comp and Benefits separately.
- Publish monthly dashboard of activities to both finance and technology sr. management.
- Act as Level 1 and Level 2 support for EUCs for both functional and technical issues - Please refer to Appendix for definitions of levels of support.
- Keep both finance and technology in the loop for all communications regarding EUCs including but not limited to changes to operating procedures, calendars, issues, enhancements etc.
Qualifications:
1. Strong Access Developer, extensive background in VBA code.
2. Ability to automate Excel from within MS Access.
3. Multitasking, multitasking, multitasking. (multiple projects, departments, processes)
4. Must have understanding and ability to write import and export specification within MS Access.
5. Ability to apply several forms of input files to database application. SAP business objects experience is helpful.
6. Strong analytical skills.
7. The ability to reverse engineer to determine source and validity of data to downstream reports and feed.
8. Desire to work extended hours to include weekends in order to meet system deadlines.
9. Strong independent worker with the drive to understand process flow and interpret process requirements.
