Senior Business Analyst - Alera Group

AEC Rx, an Alera Group company, is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team.

This position requires strong analytics skills and knowledge of the Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) business. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in our team’s success by managing client reporting, overseeing large Pharmacy claims data file transfers, assisting with Request for Proposals (RFPs), and supporting various analytics projects. This is a remote opportunity.

• Client Reporting: Develop, generate and manage Client Reports on a recurring and ad-hoc basis. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports. Analyze the data to provide actionable insights and recommendations
• Claims Data Management: Oversee the intake, validation, and processing of pharmacy claims data files from multiple sources. Monitor data workflows through Tableau to ensure accuracy and completeness. Troubleshoot and resolve errors within the data workflow
• RFP Support: Collaborate with internal teams to assist with the RFP process, including running claims through pricing tool, and preparing outputs. Analyze client requirements and provide data-driven feedback to the RFP team
• Analytics Projects: Design and execute analytical projects to support client initiatives and internal decision-making. Utilize data visualization tools to present findings effectively to stakeholders. Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvements through data analysis
• Collaboration and Communication: Serve as a key point of contact for account managers regarding reporting and data needs. Work with IT operations, and account management teams to ensure data accuracy and seamless communication
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 5+ years of experience in a business analyst or similar role, in the PBM, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in managing large datasets and claims data.
• Demonstrated experience in generating client-facing reports and analytics.
• Extensive experience in Tableau, including creating visualizations, in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite tools.
• Knowledge of PBM pricing methods.
• Familiarity with PBM systems. 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Salary range is $80,000 to $100,000 per year.
