Senior Business Analyst

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for working directly with clients to analyze their business operation’s needs. This role is customer facing and will lead the utilization of workshops and discovery meetings to gather requirements and create custom IT solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct current state assessments of business processes and supporting systems
- Perform gap and data analysis in support of identifying improvement opportunities
- Support Technical Leads and developers by providing functional clarification and setting expectations with internal IT Team
- Documents, socialize, and triage issues, defects, and enhancement requests
- Documents requirements, create specifications and/or wireframes, change requests, test cases, user guides, and strategy roadmap
- Leads the execution of test cases and ensures overall quality of solution
- Assesses current practices, collects information, and analyzes industry trends to determine organizational objectives
- Prepares technical reports by analyzing and summarizing the information and trends

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited college or university
- Experience accepted in lieu of undergraduate degree, the ratio is 1:1 - meaning one year of college equals one year of work experience and vice versa
Experience
- Customarily has at least 5 years of technical experience
- Customarily has at least 5 years of business analyst experience
- Customarily has at least 4 years of customer facing project management experience

Salary Range
The following information is required by the California Equal Pay Transparency Act and applies only to individuals working in the state of California. The anticipated starting pay range for Irvine, CA applicants for this role is $103,815.21 - $127,097.71 with a median of $112,700.80. Actual compensation is impacted by a number of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, specific work locations and any potential licenses and certifications required for that role.
The following information is required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act and applies only to individuals working in the state of Colorado. The anticipated starting pay range for Denver, Colorado applicants for this role is $97,843.45 - $119,786.67 with a median of $106,217.91. Actual compensation is impacted by a number of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, specific work locations and any potential licenses and certifications required for that role.
Working Conditions
- Up to 50% travel, dependant upon customer requirements.
