Senior Business Analyst - Flexjet

Flexjet is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Analyst (BA) who is passionate about innovation and will help us build engaging scalable web applications. We support the technology needs of five established private jet brands: Flexjet, Sentient Jet, FXAIR, PrivateFly and Halo. An ideal candidate will ensure a high level of quality, quickly become a product expert, and deliver timely communication with both internal and external customers.

This role is responsible for creating business requirements, process redesign, and acceptance criteria. He/she will conduct the root cause analysis as well as platform support activities. The job responsibilities vary along with the phase of the project. Throughout all projects the business analyst meets regularly with the teams to accomplish the objectives presented below.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze internal process issues in an effort to implement a solution that greatly reduces manual efforts and thereby improves operational efficiency
• Work with IT and vendor partner to ensure the system and data design aligns with requirements and business needs
• Facilitate and participate in cross functional workgroups, as needed, to ensure deliverables and business needs are met, as well as grooming, requirements gathering and process mapping.
• Develop and document user stories, acceptance criteria and other documentation as needed.
• Assist the QA Analyst with documenting and tracking software failures using Azure DevOps.
• Work with the IT Management Team and/or Product Mangers to plan and schedule test cycles
• Provide effective communication (technical and non-technical) with team members in multiple locations.

Education & Required Experience

• 3+ years’ experience with business analysis
• Strong business analysis skills, user story creation within the Agile methodology
• Able to translate business requirements and processes into technical documentation.
• Experience with business process improvement and redesign
• Exhibits exceptional creative problem-solving skills.
• Possesses excellent organizational skills and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Candidate should be self-motivated and demonstrate a drive to build and manage relationships with immediate team and business stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

• Oracle ERP end user experiences and/ or experience with other financial products
• Experience in Aviation, Transportation, Travel, or Maintenance Industries
• An entrepreneurial mentality that is comfortable with ambiguity and can drive a vision to fruition is essential.
• Excels at using data to inform decisions.
• Sensitive to the needs of stakeholders while prioritizing tasks that align with project goals.
