In this role, you'll collaborate with project managers and leadership to ensure timely, on-budget project delivery, while managing relationships with project staff and producing comprehensive status reports. Your expertise in child support systems, federal and state regulations, and modernization efforts will be key in transforming service efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers on various initiatives and projects to track progress and provide support as necessary.
- Support leadership in ensuring that the project is delivered to specifications, is on time, and within budget.
- Work closely with management and work groups to create and maintain work plan documents.
- Track the status and due dates of projects.
- Manage relationships with project staff responsible for projects.
- Produce regular weekly and monthly status reports that could include; work plan status, target dates, budget, resource capacity, and other reports as needed.
- Facilitate regular meetings and reviews.
- Adhere to contract requirements and comply with all corporate policies and procedures.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and contribute to the modernization of legacy child support systems, ensuring integration with new technologies like cloud computing, data analytics, and case management software.
- Analyze current child support processes and recommend strategies to enhance efficiency, improve collections, and optimize service delivery.
- Liaise with federal, state, and local government entities to ensure that modernization efforts align with child support regulations and policies.
- Use data analytics to evaluate the impact of modernization efforts on child support collections, case management, and service outcomes.
- Ensure all modernization projects meet federal and state child support regulations, as well as data privacy and security requirements.
- Implement industry best practices for child support operations, modernizing the system for more efficient, user-friendly services.
- Oversee the adoption of new processes and systems across the child support organization, addressing any challenges and ensuring smooth implementation.
- Provide training and guidance to child support staff on using modernized systems and processes to enhance overall program performance.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant professional experience required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
Additional Minimum Requirements:
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations, processes, and policies governing child support enforcement, collections, case management, and service delivery is critical.
- Experience with traditional child support systems, operations, and how they integrate with modern technologies to improve service efficiency.
- Ability to lead or contribute to modernization projects, particularly involving the upgrade of legacy child support systems to more efficient, user-friendly, and digital platforms.
- Understanding of how to analyze, redesign, and implement new processes to improve service delivery, increase collections, and streamline case management.
- Familiarity with technologies like cloud computing, data analytics, and case management software, which can enhance child support program operations.
- Experience integrating modern systems with existing child support enforcement systems (CSES) and other relevant public sector IT systems.
- Ability to work with government agencies, technology teams, and external vendors to modernize child support services.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present modernization plans, status updates, and technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Must have 8-10 years of child support modernization experience.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
