Summary

The business analyst understands and validates the customers business requirements and business process management, and then translates them to particular design requirements. Primary responsibility is to ensure an efficient and thorough exchange of information between the customer and our internal teams. Candidate will work closely with clients to identify business needs, define scope and objectives and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies. Must be able to negotiate understanding between the client and our company; explain proposed systems including benefits of implementing specific system solutions and exercise leadership and demonstrate persuasion and patience with users. 

Qualifications 

Must have strong technical skills coupled with business intelligence and a deep understanding of customer's needs so that those needs can be transformed into usable application and operational requirements
Must be able to collect and document business requirements from the customer and translate them back as technical information to be used internally by our teams
Must have experience in writing statements of work, user documents, project change request and other related documents
Must have a deep understanding of markets, customers and related technology; have the background to provide leadership in the practice and a demonstrated effectiveness in consulting and client management
Must demonstrate excellent analytical skills to conduct requirement and impact analysis using logic, problem solving & decision making skills along with common sense
Must understand the importance of requirements on quality and how to understand what deliver it to the customer
Must have a combination of 5- 10 years Business Analyst experience or equivalent industry experience

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks 
Understand the business requirements of the customers and translate them into specific design requirements
Create functional requirements, coordinate requirements walk-through and sign-offs, verify with the customer that requirements accurately portray the business vision
Prepare accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, user interface guides, and functional specification documents as needed
Communicate effectively with external clients and internal teams to deliver products functional requirements like screen, interface, and GUI designs.
Work with customer to design useful and accurate user acceptance test scenarios
Effectively communicate with both internal teams and external clients to deliver functional requirements like GUI, screen and interface designs
Participate in cross-functional business process re-engineering teams and continuous improvement efforts.
