Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance to engineers, EITs, and CAD staff at various experience levels.
- Lead the design and technical direction for bridge transportation projects.
- Coordinate with interfacing disciplines.
- Maintain proficiency with engineering software.
- Manage project budget, schedule, and quality, staying updated on regulation changes and agency requirements.
- Develop proposals, scopes of work, staff-hour estimates, and work plans for engineering pursuits.
- Travel domestically for periodic project site visits or client meetings (up to 25% of the time).
Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience with FDOT Districts, Florida’s Turnpike, and CFX required; Design-Build expertise is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred) from an accredited college.
- Professional Engineering license in Florida.
- Familiarity with applicable regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Efficient in planning and organizing workload.
- Committed to delivering quality work with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
