We're looking to hire a Brand Manager to be part of the Country Crock brand, the biggest brand in our US portfolio. Country Crock is one the most iconic brands in the food industry, with a fantastic growth trajectory across spreads and creams categories!
As a Brand Manager reporting to the US Marketing Director, your focus will be on brand plan development, execution, and measurement. From leading creative development and marketing activation initiatives--to analyzing business performance and providing key insights, you will have a variety of opportunities to develop your marketing acumen and show leadership potential to further your career within the organization. The environment at Flora Food Group is fast-paced so you'll bring a dynamic and agile approach to work with the consumer and customer mindset at the core.
Responsibilities
- Own the development and execution of the overall annual communications strategy and marketing plan.
- Lead packaging creative design development for product innovations and renovations supporting the Innovation lead.
- Work with media agencies and colleagues at key digital platforms (eg. Facebook, Pinterest, Youtube) to develop test and scale approaches for audience-driven digital media.
- Create and execute custom content with digital publisher partners in the food and lifestyle space.
- Own our branded channel strategy including website and social media handles (FB, IG, Twitter, etc.).
- Lead partner agencies in planning and executing all customer shopper marketing activities and national consumer promotional strategies.
- Leverage marketing intelligence insights in conjunction with media agencies to synthesize and optimize activities in the areas of paid and owned media (tv, digital, social, website), with an eye towards learning and utilizing our data management platforms to extend our targeting capabilities.*
- Establish and maintain brand budget and drive efficiencies on an ongoing basis, working closely with external partners to optimize across and within channels.
- Stay on top of food trends as well as new marketing technology to assist with special marketing projects as needed to leverage innovative channels.
- Key responsibilities encompass Annual planning and ongoing brand business (brand health and consumption) operations, Innovation Execution, Campaign Management, Media strategy, activity planning, and ownership and planning of budgets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
- 5-7 years of relevant experience (i.e. Project Management, Brand Management, Innovation Management, or Management Consulting in the food/consumer space)
- Passion for marketing communication and ability to identify and develop strong creativity.
- Love for food and a knowledge of food trends
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and an agile approach to work
- High level of interpersonal skills leading cross-functional teams and demonstrated ability to influence others across functions
- Strong analytical skills and be able to opportunistically identify avenues for brand growth in emerging channels
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint, (MS projects preferred)
- Experience using syndicated data resources preferred (i.e. Nielsen, IRI, SPINS)
- Proximity to Flora Food Group Hackensack office for hybrid working (roughly 3 days a week in office)
- Ability to travel 15% domestically and internationally
Compensation range: Base salary $140K to $155K based on experience, expertise, and other legitimate, non-discriminatory factors. The position includes annual bonus opportunity and other competitive health and welfare benefits.
