Job Details
Our dynamic and rapidly expanding pharmaceutical manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and financial management, preferably in the manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work with a diverse and dedicated team, and to contribute to the financial growth and stability of our company.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for a wide range of financial tasks, including:
1. Maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budget and close processes, conducting internal audits, and maintaining accounts payable documentation.
2. Ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks.
3. Managing all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: AP, AR, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
4. Implementing and maintaining QuickBooks Online and other ERP systems.
5. Processing payments and invoices accurately and within expected time periods.
6. Utilizing the automated barcoding system for inventory control.
7. Assisting in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance.
8. Ensuring compliance with all internal processes.
9. Collaborating with the rest of the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial management for the organization.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a Senior Bookkeeper role or similar.
2. Strong experience with QuickBooks Online, ERP systems, and MS Office.
3. Previous experience in the pharmaceuticals or manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
4. Proficiency in payment invoicing, AP and AR, and automated barcoding systems.
5. A strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations.
6. An ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines.
7. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
8. A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
