Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that requires a dedicated professional who can take charge of our financial records, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance at all times. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts receivable, invoicing, accounts payable, year-end close, reconciliation, and ledger management.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all general ledger bookkeeping activities.
Handle all aspects of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Prepare, send, and track invoices, ensuring timely payments.
Conduct month-end and year-end closes, preparing necessary financial statements.
Reconcile all financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls, and protect confidential financial information.
Provide financial information to the management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and assist in financial planning.
Continually improve and automate the accounting process.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Proficient in bookkeeping software, Microsoft Office Suite, particularly strong in Excel, and other business-related software.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, fair credit practices, and financial data analysis.
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to spot numerical errors.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and workflow.
Exceptional ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with the manufacturing industry would be a distinct advantage.
