Summary:
Parabit Systems, a well-established and rapidly expanding company in the security and self-service equipment industries is currently seek experienced technician/assemblers. The suitable candidate should have a strong background with mechanical and electrical assemblies including testing and basic troubleshooting skills as well as some soldering experience.
This position focuses on manufacturing & testing equipment, candidate must have a fundamental understanding of digital electronics, AC and DC circuits, power supplies and must have some soldering experience such as attaching wires to switches as well as soldering thru hole and surface mount components to PCB's. The job may also require some basic troubleshooting using a DVM. Candidate must be well organized and capable or documenting and maintaining production reports on excel spreadsheets.
Essential Requirements:
- Must be able to follow assembly procedures.
- Must have some soldering experience, IPC certification is a plus.
- Must know how to use a Digital Voltmeter.
- Must be able to follow repair procedures on all products.
- Must be able to read schematics.
- Must Document and submit all failures of equipment to QA Manager.
- Maintain quality control on the production of all equipment.
- Maintain knowledge of all software and firmware utilized to support all products.
- Ensure all company equipment and tools are in proper working conditions.
- Maintain a safe and well-organized work area.
- Follow company procedures and policies.
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
Education / Experience Requirements:
Qualified candidates must have 1-2 years of bench level experience to be considered. Must have some soldering experience as well as some troubleshooting and assembly experience. Candidate must have some experience with electronic test equipment and the ability to read a schematic and follow all assembly and testing procedures. Candidate must have experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel Software. Experience with job tracking software is a plus.
