We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AV Technician to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is perfect for a motivated individual with a passion for audio-visual technology and a knack for problem-solving. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and operation of all AV equipment, with a strong focus on shading, AV control, cabling, and lighting. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field and offers an exciting opportunity to work in a challenging, innovative environment where your expertise can make a difference.

Responsibilities:

Install, operate, maintain, and repair AV equipment including but not limited to projectors, amplifiers, speakers, microphones, and lighting systems.
Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
Design and implement AV systems for various projects, ensuring high-quality sound and visual performance.
Work closely with the engineering team to develop and implement solutions for complex AV problems.
Manage the cabling of all AV equipment, ensuring a clean and organized setup.
Operate and maintain AV control systems, ensuring seamless operation during presentations and events.
Oversee the installation and operation of shading and lighting systems, ensuring optimal visual performance and audience comfort.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for all AV-related issues.
Keep up-to-date with the latest AV technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an AV Technician or a similar role in the Engineering industry.
Proficient in AV control systems, shading, cabling, and lighting.
Strong technical skills and knowledge of AV equipment and systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex AV issues.
Ability to design and implement AV systems for a variety of projects.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical individuals.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment.
Knowledge of the latest AV technologies and industry trends.
A degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field would be advantageous.
