About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Fanuc Robotics and Cognex or Keyence Vision Systems, with a proven track record in installation and commissioning of advanced automation systems. If you are a proactive, self-driven professional who thrives on tackling challenging projects and delivering excellence, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, installation, and commissioning of automation systems, with a focus on Fanuc robots and Cognex/Keyence vision systems.
Develop and implement robust automation solutions that meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Conduct thorough system testing, debugging, and optimization to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality, to ensure seamless project execution.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation-related issues promptly.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotics and vision technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
Prepare comprehensive documentation, including project plans, technical manuals, and training materials.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards during all phases of project execution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
Minimum of [X] years of hands-on experience with Fanuc robotics and Cognex or Keyence vision systems.
Expertise in installation, programming, and commissioning of robotic and vision systems.
Strong understanding of automation technologies, PLCs, and control systems.
Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Willingness to travel as required for onsite installations and support.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with other robotics platforms and vision systems.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, or Ladder Logic.
Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, etc.).
Certifications in Fanuc, Cognex, or Keyence systems.
