Kforce's client, a growing Regional CPA firm in East Brunswick, NJ is seeking an Audit Senior to join their rapidly growing Audit team. The role will be hybrid. Summary: As an Audit Senior, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in your professional career through ongoing training, collaborating with colleagues on multiple engagements, experiencing direct coaching and mentoring from our talented Audit team, and overseeing our Associate staff. Audit Senior will assist in carrying out audit, accounting, and other consulting and attest services to clients
Coordinate service activities with clients and oversee staff accountants
Successfully deal with complex accounting issues and specialized assignments
Maintain proper documentation in accordance with firm policies and auditing standards
Run large and complex engagements while supervising staff or run several smaller engagements simultaneously
As an Audit Senior, you will develop new client relationships and enhance current relationships by providing excellent customer service
Excel in a dynamic work environment servicing a variety of clients
Participate in continuing education and professional development

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Actively working towards obtaining your CPA license; Current CPA license a plus
4+ years of recent work experience as an auditor for a public accounting firm
Exposure servicing a broad range of industries (prefer real estate & 401k audit experience)
Complete various assignments within time constraints and deadlines
Excellent at project management and possess analytical skills
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications (Excel, Teams, Word, etc.)
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
