Job Description: Job Title: Senior Associate, Quality Assurance
Job Overview:
- Analyze warranty return parts and determine the starting point of failure.
- Perform in-depth function tests of components looking for abnormal functions and abnormal wear patterns.
- Operate precision measuring equipment and complex testbenches (oscilloscopes and data loggers).
- Ensure test equipment is set up properly before testing. Install components in test vehicle for real world situations.
- Document and report any discrepancies to the responsible engineer and supervisor.
- Code and document final analysis results in database/warranty system.
- Review warranty information and insure documentation provided with the parts is complete.
- Organized parts according to analysis results.
- Repack and prepare the inspected parts for shipping.
Responsibilities:
- The QEC test technician performs in-depth testing of warranty return parts to determine the starting point of failure.
- Analysis results will be key for improving quality in Client cars.
- Test technician will analyze abnormalities in part performance and record results while collaborating with senior engineer and supervisor to determine the cause.
Qualifications:
Must have 1-3 years (total) of experience in the following:
- Automotive - Technical: Knowledge of automotive technical information systems and repair/diagnostics procedures
