Currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Attorney with eminent domain experience to join our dynamic legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional who is passionate about eminent domain law and real estate litigation, and who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment. The successful candidate will primarily focus on eminent domain cases, providing expert legal advice, and representing our clients in court. This position requires a deep understanding of eminent domain law, strong negotiation skills, and a proven track record in real estate litigation.
Must have at least five years’ experience, excellent research, writing, and case management skills; significant experience in real estate litigation/ and/or eminent domain; and public entity law is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities:
1. Represent clients in eminent domain proceedings, including negotiations, litigation, and appeals.
2. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis of complex legal issues related to eminent domain and real estate law.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
4. Provide expert legal advice to clients on all aspects of eminent domain law, including valuation, relocation assistance, and constitutional law issues.
5. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the efficient and effective handling of eminent domain cases.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional client service and ensuring client satisfaction.
7. Stay updated on the latest developments in eminent domain law and real estate litigation, and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to CA bar and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Eminent Domain Attorney or in a similar role.
4. Extensive experience in real estate litigation, with a particular focus on eminent domain law.
5. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to resolve complex legal issues effectively.
6. Strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to draft and review legal documents accurately and efficiently.
7. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
8. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple cases and meet tight deadlines.
