We are seeking a Senior Architect in Atlanta, GA, with experience in higher education, K-12, healthcare, governmental, and/or general commercial markets.
Pay is relevant to experience, estimated at $45-$58/HR ($90-$120K annual base).
A hybrid schedule will allow you to work 2 days a week from home.

- Lead the architectural design and planning for projects within the higher education, K-12, healthcare, governmental, and general commercial markets.
- Conduct comprehensive code analysis and ensure strict adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee code conformance, ensuring that all designs meet or exceed established guidelines.
- Oversee and participate in peer reviews to maintain high-quality architectural standards.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and clients, to develop innovative and practical architectural solutions.
- Prepare and present project proposals, design concepts, and progress updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and team members.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in building codes, regulations, and industry trends, and ensure project compliance.
- Perform field verifications / site walks to identify, verify, resolve, and incorporate solutions into design packages. May troubleshoot design problems in the field during construction.
Required:

A Bachelors or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited architectural program.
- A Registered Architect (RA) license in good standing with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- The ability to lead a project team and manage the workload of multiple projects of varying complexity.
- Proven experience in code analysis and understanding of building codes and regulations (such as egress, fire-resistant assemblies, occupancy, and building types).
- Proficiency in relevant design software and tools, such as Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience performing field verifications and site walks to identify, verify, resolve, and incorporate solutions into design packages.
- Ability to troubleshoot design problems in the field.
