Senior Application Software Engineer (DevOps) - The Ashlar Group

• Design, build, test and maintain scalable automation and interfaces. Act as a subject matter expert for software delivery. Expand and extend the capabilities of third-party systems to best meet user needs. Leverage knowledge and experience to increase the reliability of custom and third-party systems.
• Contribute to the entire implementation process including driving the definition of improvements based on business need and technical improvements.
• Design and implement process automation to increase efficiencies for both technology delivery and clinical systems delivery.
• Collaborate with team members to develop complete solutions.
• Work in an agile environment.
• Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes and functionality.
• Contribute to the entire implementation process including driving the definition of improvements based on business need and architectural improvements
• Meet with business partners to understand business needs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience. 
• 3+ years of related experience. 
• Healthcare experience strongly preferred, requires demonstrated understanding of the business process as it relates to experience in the field. 
• Strong working knowledge of PL/SQL or T-SQL, UNIX shell scripting
• UNIX shell scripting or Perl scripting experience a plus.
• Facets or other claims management system experience a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of C#/.Net. 
• Experience with Oracle. 
• Experience with web services, messaging, and stored procedures
