The Senior Application Developer II – SAP & Azure is responsible for participating in the planning, development, maintenance, and enhancement of applications and the functional areas of the package. Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
This position can be based from most Breakthru Beverage office locations to operate in a hybrid capacity (2 days in the office, 3 days from home).
Responsibilities:- Work with the Project Managers, Senior Developers in other areas and Business Stakeholders to understand the processes, workflows, and requirements.
- Communicate capabilities/possibilities within applications. Meet business requirements and objectives by developing and implementing modification and/or configuration changes. Customize application functionality to satisfy business requirements and business process design. Adheres to application standards by maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of best practices.
- Participate in design, development, customizing functionality, automation and testing in SAP CDP, SAP Emarsys and Azure services based on the requirements provided by the customers or internal specifications. Also, work with the team on design and code review sessions for the new features that are being implemented.
- Responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to SAP CDP, SAP Emarsys, and Azure services (Logic Apps, APIs, Data Factory, etc.) as part of the ongoing maintenance of systems. This includes participation in on-call rotation and projects that are conducted between 6pm and 8am weekdays, any time of day on Saturdays and Sundays and holidays.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Maintain expertise in SAP CDP and SAP Emarsys technologies, alongside existing Azure skills, ensuring knowledge of best practices and emerging trends in cloud computing, marketing automation, and customer data platforms.

- Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent technical training and work experience with coursework in technology-related subjects
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the following: SAP technical development, Cloud services, Azure functions & Business services, Logic Apps, .Net, Odata, Web API, SQL server.
- Experience in developing code using Python & C# as the language, processing data files in different formats, using Source code technologies like GIT, using Azure DevOps, setting up CI/CD pipelines and with Postman.
- Knowledge of Material Management, Sales and Distribution processes and related configurations.
- Experience with end-to-end SAP implementation, SAP Customer Data Platform, and SAP Emarsys.
- Solid understanding of SAP data model in SD/FI/MM and WM modules.
- Clear understanding of ERP modules such as Warehouse Management (WM), Materials Management (MM), Sales & Distribution (SD), Finance (FI) and their inter-dependencies in SAP environment.
- An understanding of the software development lifecycles, planning and implementation.
- Previous experience working with project teams to design, develop and implement solutions.
- Ability to work with, manage interactions, and direct work of external consultants is a must.
- Ability to travel up to 20% and work during off hours and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CDS views, FIORI, Eclipse, SAP data services, S/4.
- Azure certification
- Experience with ABAP development
