The Position
BVGS is a high growth technology company with a focus on protecting critical national security and commercial supply chains. We leverage diverse datasets and collection techniques to proactively illuminate supply chains and identify areas of risks for our clients. Our unique outside-in approach depends on continuous innovation in building, developing, and exploiting a vast data ecosystem. Our Product Deployment team is looking for a new member to advance the state of the art in our field. The Senior Analyst, Product Deployment serves as a lead for custom data-driven solutions provided for our government clients. This position reports to the Product Deployment Manager and works with a team to provide high-level data analysis and data-driven reporting products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Take a leading role in product deployment efforts including supplier illumination and system-supplier mapping.
2. Partner with clients to collect program-specific requirements and develop solutions with the Risk Operations Team.
3. Perform research and analysis on defense, space, and adjacent markets, supply chains, and vendors.
4. Support the Client Success team by providing product expertise, demos, and background research on potential new clients as well as contribute to inside sales efforts.
5. Contribute to the development of the Product Deployment organization, including strategy development, alignment of value streams with other teams, and standardizing business processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Data Analysis and detailed Python experience.
2. Strong SQL experience with knowledge in connecting to data sources and mapping to new sources.
3. Strong understanding in issues at the intersection of national security, business, and technology with specific emphasis on space and defense industrial issues.
4. An analytical mind and ability to contribute to solving complex technical challenges under the guidance of experienced developers.
5. Self-starter with the ability to independently develop solutions to unstructured client problems.
6. Research skills with experience conducting and presenting structured analysis using various methods with an emphasis on data science.
7. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel and a desire to learn more advanced technical skills, including programming and data science.
8. Experience in data science (particularly in querying large data sets and transcribing). Willingness to serve in various ad hoc roles, including contributing to proposal efforts and lead product demos. We are a collaborative team with a can-do attitude. 9. US Citizen.

Preferred Skills:

1. Background in management consulting, defense contracting, or supply chain management.
2. Experience or demonstrated interest in business development within the aerospace and defense industry, especially in providing product demos.
3. DoD Security clearance or eligible to gain a DoD Security Clearance.
