enteon is currently seeking a Senior Analyst Financial Planning & Analysis FP&Ato fill an opening with an Industry Leader and Employer of Choice with headquarters in the Metro Detroit area. The ideal candidate will be a critical contributor to the company s overall financial success.
Requirements of the Senior Analyst Financial Planning & Analysis FP&A
- 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally including both public accounting and corporate experience.
- Strong analytical capabilities and exceptional financial modeling and analysis skills with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis is essential to excel in this role.
- Strong MS Excel skills required: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for data analysis and financial modeling.
- Strong understanding of the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement: Thorough knowledge of financial statements is critical for effective financial planning.
- Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and communication skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced / dynamic work environment and think outside of the box: Adaptability and creative problem-solving are key attributes for success.
- Bachelor s degree with concentration in accounting, finance, or economics.

- Support budgeting and forecasting processes: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in the development of the annual budget business plan and monthly forecast updates.
- Understand key performance indicators and provide monthly variance analyses: Track and interpret key financial performance metrics, providing meaningful business insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Manage the financial commitments for specified projects: Take ownership of the actions necessary to deliver on initiatives and ensure they are brought to closure.
- Support customer teams on program profitability: Monitor and analyze the profitability of customer accounts and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Assist regional controllers with operational finance matters: Understand key changes impacting manufacturing plants and work with central accounting team to accurately record and forecast.
- Support ad hoc financial reporting and analysis: Respond to requests as needed.
