THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Senior Analyst, Restaurant Food Safety Data, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in data processing and visualization software to drive sound business decisions that enhance efficiency and ensure data accuracy within Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA). Your role will involve extracting data, analyzing key figures, and creating actionable reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure business success. This role will collaborate closely with key FSQA stakeholders and enterprise data teams to design and develop insightful reports, while mining third party and internal data sources to uncover valuable insights. You will be responsible for transforming the data into meaningful presentations, presenting findings with stakeholders to inform and guide decision making.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Serve as the Food Safety Data primary point of contact and subject matter expert (SME) for FSQA stakeholders, providing routine data and analytics, creating Ad Hoc reports requested based on business needs, and creating repeatable dashboards for stakeholder self-service as needed.
• Leads analytical projects by integrating large volumes of data and developing actionable insights and recommendations to relevant teams, leadership, Board of Directors (BOD) and Food Safety Advisory Council to enhance efficiency and results within the FSQA team.
• Identify and implement process efficiencies and enhancements for data and analytics through cross-functional collaboration, automation, gathering requirements, submitting test cases and confirm testing in UAT and production.
• Design, maintain, update, document, and improve, design of business models for monthly and quarterly KPI reporting and SOPs while ensuring data and reporting integrity.
• Translate questions from cross-functional partners into actionable data analysis tasks and deliverables while working across multiple business lines to understand and address data needs effectively.
• Develop quantitative and qualitative analyses to equip teams with the tools necessary to measure workload and assess impact.
• Perform deep dive analyses of current and historical department trends, presenting meaningful insights and recommendations that guide FSQA decision making and strategy.
• Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to define data pipeline requirements that will be critical for the development of data models and downstream dashboards/reports.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university required.
• 5-7 years’ hands-on data experience in data management and analysis.
• Proven ability to compile and analyze large amounts of multi-faceted data, sourced from multiple platforms, and create insightful and meaningful information to drive sound business decisions.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, tableau, Alteryx or other data visualization or task platforms.
• Fundamental understanding of databases; Snowflake, Salesforce Service Cloud, Service now and/or semi-structured data strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with immediate teams, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated experience communicating and presenting cross-functionally and bringing organizational silos together.
• Strong and effective presentation skills with a senior leadership audience.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $85,000.00–$119,500.00. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
