Newtek Bank, N.A. is looking for a Senior Analyst - Fiserv Operations & IT Support.
The Senior Analyst will manage the day-to-day operations, remediation, and general support of our Fiserv systems. This role requires a technical expert with a deep understanding of traditional Fiserv systems running on Unisys and Windows as a virtual machine (VM). The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of our banking systems (including the daily batch process), promptly address issues, and support continuous improvements to enhance system performance and reliability. In addition, the candidate will be involved with deployment of new solutions and services to depositors. Candidate will also be responsible for updating Fiserv software, coordinating with business leaders.
Key Responsibilities to include (other duties may be assigned):
Daily Operations Management:
Monitor System Performance: Oversee the daily operation of Fiserv systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
Incident Management: Respond to and resolve technical issues related to Fiserv, Unisys, and Windows VM environments, minimizing downtime and service disruption.
Operational Support: Provide day-to-day support to the operations team, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems as they arise. This includes the import / export of data between Premier and 3rd party solutions. Will be the user access control person, but business leaders will retain approval.
Remediation and Continuous Improvement:
Issue Remediation: Analyze and remediate any system issues or inefficiencies, implementing fixes to prevent recurrence and improve system stability.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational improvements, recommending and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and system performance.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, issues encountered, and resolutions, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuity.
Technical Support:
System Administration: Perform routine maintenance, updates, and configurations on Fiserv systems, ensuring they are optimized and secure.
Technical Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders and IT teams to support system upgrades, migrations, and other technical projects, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Compliance and Security: Ensure that all systems are compliant with regulatory requirements and internal security policies.

Qualification:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in banking systems and/or operations, with a focus on Fiserv core banking systems (Premier, Director, Payment Exchange, PIM, Statement Advantage, Positive Pay (ACH and Check) from Alkami, OpCon From SMA Technologies)
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Fiserv system administration, Unisys platforms, with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, reliability, and compliance, with a commitment to maintaining high operational standards.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in Fiserv systems and Unisys a plus
Salary Range: $75,000 to $100,000 per year
