About the Job
We are looking for a Senior Analyst in Business Process Management to join our Independent Medical Review program.
This remote role presents an exciting opportunity to lead process improvement initiatives and enhance operational efficiency The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analyzing and optimizing business processes, with a focus on implementing innovative solutions that align with our strategic goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Capture, define, document, and maintain detailed BPMN 2.0- based process models.
- Create and manage allied process documentation including business requirements, use case documentation and test plans; ensuring all required process documentation is accurate, correctly detailed, maintained, and organized in the appropriate repository.
- Design, execute and evaluate test plans to ensure source data are accurately represented in presentation data objects (dashboards/reports).
- Facilitate discussion among process stakeholders (both technical and non-technical) in order to elicit, analyze, communicate (both written and verbally), and validate requirements, process design, and business intelligence (reporting) needs.
- Mentor, train, and provide guidance, background information, and assistance to managers, analysts and other staff on standards and best practices in the following areas: business and operational analysis, and interpretation and effective use of process models, presentation objects and other analysis artifacts.
- Plan and execute analysis.
- Often interrogate data and other information to perform root cause analysis, impact assessments, or to identify key measures and indicators of process performance making recommendations to improve or correct performance.
- Write and author presentations to clients and other staff; often requires clear and persuasive explanation of complex processes to a non-technical audience.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.
-Develop Production Plans that include tactical short- term and strategic long-term forecasts for workload, staffing, production standards and average process handle time.
-Oversee work product and invoicing from vendors providing mailing, medical review, and application development services.
-Liaison between vendors and business, manage enhancements and changes to applications, processes, and work products.
-Understand system operation to test changes and enhancements. Oversee releases in real-time.
-Review process improvement requests, analyze benefit, recommend whether request should be implemented, refined, or discarded.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience.
- Advanced degree or professional designation preferred.
- Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems.
- Work requires considerable judgment and initiative.
- Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
