Senior Air Quality Engineer

As a Senior Air Quality Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work on diverse and cutting-edge projects across various industries. From managing air permitting and compliance efforts to performing technical modeling and reporting, this position offers hands-on involvement in every stage of the project lifecycle. You’ll be at the forefront of client engagement, building relationships, and delivering tailored solutions to meet regulatory and business needs.

In this role, you'll:

• Lead air quality permitting and compliance projects, including Title V, PSD, and NSR permitting.
• Conduct air dispersion modeling, emissions inventory development, and regulatory reporting.
• Interface directly with clients to understand their needs, present findings, and guide them toward compliance and sustainability goals.
• Develop and implement environmental compliance strategies for industrial clients in sectors like oil & gas, manufacturing, and energy.
• Support business development by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and strengthening client relationships.
• Mentor junior staff, sharing technical expertise and fostering professional growth within the team.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering (or a related field).
• 5-10+ years of experience in air quality permitting, compliance, and consulting.
• Strong technical expertise in air emissions modeling tools (e.g., AERMOD) and regulatory programs.
• Proven success in consulting, including client management, project delivery, and team collaboration.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
