The Department of Property Control at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) is essential in managing, documenting, safeguarding, and State reporting on all University assets. Position Overview
The Senior Administrative Associate for Property Control plays a critical role in supporting Department Asset Coordinators, adding financial information to assets, coding ePro PO Requisitions, detailed EIS data entry, assisting in the repurposing of surplus items, and writing lot descriptions for surplus of public auction items. This position involves maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting the overall efficiency of property management operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with all departments.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and three (3) year of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Teams, & Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in Peoplesoft(EIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of state regulations regarding property control.

Job Duties:
- Reviews, edits, and approves all campus PO requisitions for controlled and capital assets on behalf of Asset Management; Creates requisition and PO packets to relay incoming asset information to Central Receiving, by using ePro and Excel Inventory Log.
- Adds Financial information in EIS to new assets, using information from ePro, EIS Accounting module, EIS Asset module, and Excel Inventory Log.
- Trains asset coordinators & requisition requestors on ePro & EIS best practices, current procedures, and required forms. Creates and updates training materials available on departmental website with PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat. - (Essential)
- Assists Surplus by using EIS, Excel, and OneDrive to: Update assets, create sale item descriptions, and post new announcements for surplus online sales.
- Utilizes EIS queries and Excel to update assets for disposals, sales, and donations; Reconcile Surplus auction inventory with current physical inventory for accuracy; Create bimonthly reports for Inservice/Disposed Assets for Information Technology.
- Conducts extensive research for historical data in EIS , shared network drive, departmental email box, and Excel documents. If errors are found, submit requests to Accounting for correction.
- Initiates inventory process for identified capital and controlled assets at the requisition level by confirming custodian, location, maintaining DeptID, and assigning RFID asset tag numbers in ePro and Excel inventory log.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
