Job Description:

• This Senior Administrative Assistant position is in support of the Naval Sea Systems Command Code 03S (NAVSEA 03S) Digital Industrial Operations (DIO)Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution (NMMES) Program.
• NMMES is composed of IT systems, applications, networks, and data centers that serve as business operations and financial management tools for over 45,000 users executing Navy ship and submarine maintenance, overhaul, and repair at facilities across the United States and worldwide.
• The Sr. Admin Assistant will support the NMMES Program Office at the Washington Navy Yard in the overall execution of the program requirements.

Position expectations and duties include the following:

• Performs administrative duties in a staff activity.
• Performs specialized assignments relating to typing, word processing, graphics illustration using computers with very little direction.
• Performs a variety of support services such as operation of reproduction equipment to produce large volumes of documents, courier service and mail service, etc.
• Maintains personnel and other files; prepares correspondence, schedules, and coordinates travel.
• Assists in the preparation of documents and supports the development of contract deliverables and reports.
• Responsible for integrating the graphics generated with automated tools and the deliverable documents.
• Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• May lead and direct the work of others.

Required Skills and Experiences:

• At least 7 years’ experience in the field, and
• At least 4 years of managerial experience
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• A secret security clearance.
