Senior Administrative Assistant
In this position, you will perform a variety of complex clerical duties in support of the Colorado Springs Fire Department, Division of the Fire Marshal.

Essential Job Functions - the basic job duties an employee must be able to perform:
- Provide customer service for the Development Review Enterprise
- Answer phones, fax, and email
- Issue system permits, receive payment, and issue receipts
- Purchase supplies; order and keep inventory of equipment
- Make travel arrangements
- Prepare monthly expense reports
- Arrange meetings and schedule inspections
- Enter data and scan system plans into a specialized database
- Review applications for contractor licensing and approvals
- Prepare documentation for Fire Board of Appeals
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:

- Modern office technology and supporting software
- Proper English usage, spelling, punctuation, and grammar
- Principles and practices of cash handling
- Type and enter data at a speed necessary for successful job completion
- Maintain a variety of files and records

- Communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
