ManTech is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in Alexandria, VA to provide exceptional support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech in support of a counterterrorism mission. The Senior Administrative Assistant will provide support to government leaders in the Department of Defense. Administrative support tasks shall encompass a full range of moderate to complex administrative assignments involving use of judgement and discretion. The individual will also provide travel planning and management through the Defense Travel System (DTS).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Daily administrative support to the IWTSD mission
+ Coordinating and preparing travel arrangements and reimbursements in the Defense Travel System (DTS).
+ Coordinating travel requirements to include local, domestic and international destinations.
+ Organizing, coordinating, and assisting with conferences, meetings, seminars, and other events.
+ Maintaining schedules, appointments, meetings, and calendars for customer Program Managers.
+ Recording meeting minutes with action items and distributing to the Program Manager and the team.
+ Preparing and composing correspondence, reports and other written products.
+ Proofreading and editing internal and external communication and correspondence for assigned customer Program Managers.
+ Gathering, maintaining, and analyzing data for various purposes.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ At least 7 years of administrative support experience in a Department of Defense office to include the following:
+ Supporting senior level government personnel.
+ Knowledge of the DoD Joint Travel Regulations (JTR)
+ At least 5 years of recent and continuous experience coordinating and preparing travel authorizations and reimbursements in DTS.
+ Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelors Degree
+ Excellent communication skills.
Clearance Requirement : Active DoD Secret with the ability to obtain a Top Secret.
