Summary: The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for completing accounting activities related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank and credit card reconciliations including processing large volumes of accounting transactions in a timely manner, following Standard Accounting Policies and Procedures and ensuring that the Customers are responded to in an accurate manner.
Responsibilities:
Problem disputes/ issues solving (identify, communicate and facilitate resolution for clients.).
Give support and attention to any client issues
Reconcile unapplied prepayment client account
Reconciliation Credit Cards, & A/P sub ledger with GL account
Prepare process documentation, perform testing of controls; assist with the implementation of new financial systems or processes.
Prepare monthly various internal financial reports for presentation to Finance leadership.
Prepare A/R Sub-ledger and GL balance sheet account reconciliations on a monthly basis.
Perform the cash application transaction activities on a timely manner to improve the Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC)
Prepare account receivable reports. Monthly/Quarterly reporting to upper management on A/R performance, Month-end, AR Turn / DSO, reserves and ad-hoc reporting
Assist in auditory reviews
Perform other duties as assigned or necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
- Fluent speaking, writing and reading English, Spanish
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience utilizing MS-Excel and MS-Word
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload
- Minimum 3 years managing either SAP, Oracle or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledgeable of the accepted accounting principles (FASB & GAAP)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 Per Year
