Senior Accounts Payable Clerk, Legal Services - Swanson Martin and Bell LLP

Swanson Martin & Bell, LLP is looking for a skilled Senior Accounts Payable Clerk, responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and undertaking the payment of all creditors accurately, efficiently, and promptly.

Responsibilities include:

• Processing and paying between 1200-1600 invoices per month
• Reconcile and code monthly credit card statements
• Print A/P checks weekly
• Respond to queries from vendors and staff accordingly
• Obtain payment approval and coding from attorneys
• Prepare and file 1099s
• Track unclaimed property and follow up with payee as needed
• Any other project(s) as assigned by the Controller

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Anticipates work needs and follows through with minimum direction, and takes responsibility to follow up on own initiative
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis).
• Works effectively within a team environment, as well as independently
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies or anomalies in financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and partners.
• Prioritizes the organization of workflow and uses time efficiently

Compensation

$63-70k annually DOE
