Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a Boston-based Construction company to identify a Senior Accounts Payable Associate to join their team.

Highlights of the Senior Accounts Payable Associate Opportunity:

• The Company: 25-year-old high end residential construction and service company with 5 locations across MA and NY.
• The Growth: The company has steadily grown year over year and expect to continue that trajectory going forward. They are booked out through 2025 with new business.
• The Opportunity: Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Accounts Payable Associate will have opportunity to develop into an Accounts Payable Manager position.

The Senior Accounts Payable Associate’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee the accounts payable workflow, ensuring prompt approvals from Associates to meet month-end closing targets.
• Validate and align tickets and invoices; proactively address any discrepancies or missing documents.
• Input authorized and matched invoices into the accounting software.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of vendor statements.
• Compile data for monthly accrued expenses report.
• Organize and manage accounts payable records.
• Professionally handle vendor inquiries and communications.
• Contribute as required to annual financial statement audits and other audit processes (e.g., tax, unemployment).
• Perform additional tasks as delegated

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of full cycle Accounts Payable experience
• Sage 300 experience highly preferred
• Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• Construction industry experience highly preferred
