ABOUT THE COMPANY AND SENIOR ACCOUNTING REPORTING ANALYST OPPORTUNITY

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTING REPORTING ANALYST:

• Support the month-end close process - journal entry review and approval and monthly reconciliations.
• Supervise staff accountants by reviewing and approving work.
• Support primary accounting processes such as cash, group insurance, goodwill, retirement, etc.
• Assist in special projects and help facilitate quarterly and annual reviews/audits.
• Research technical accounting and financial reporting guidance.
• Create accounting/finance models to forecast quarterly and annual financial results.
• Work cross-functionally with operations.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTING REPORTING ANALYST:

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Accounting field.
• Public accounting experience
• Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills.
• Project management experience with a proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Self-starter mindset with the initiative to promote change when needed.

Preferred:

• Advanced degree (MBA, CPA, or equivalent).
• CPA highly preferred.
• Public accounting experience highly preferred.
• Familiarity with analytical tools such as R, Alteryx, or robotic process automation.
• Knowledge of statistics, corporate finance, and accounting principles.
• Experience with financial systems like HFM, Oracle, MicroStrategy BI, or OneStream.
• Background in testing analysis of business initiatives.
