Compensation: $90 000 - 95 000 + Bonus

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTING REPORTING ANALYST:
- Support the month-end close process - journal entry review and approval and monthly reconciliations.
- Supervise staff accountants by reviewing and approving work.
- Support primary accounting processes such as cash, group insurance, goodwill, retirement, etc.
- Assist in special projects and help facilitate quarterly and annual reviews/audits.
- Research technical accounting and financial reporting guidance.
- Create accounting/finance models to forecast quarterly and annual financial results.
- Work cross-functionally with operations.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTING REPORTING ANALYST:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Accounting field.
- Public accounting experience
- Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills.
- Project management experience with a proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Self-starter mindset with the initiative to promote change when needed.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree (MBA, CPA, or equivalent).
- CPA highly preferred.
- Public accounting experience highly preferred.
- Familiarity with analytical tools such as R, Alteryx, or robotic process automation.
- Knowledge of statistics, corporate finance, and accounting principles.
- Experience with financial systems like HFM, Oracle, MicroStrategy BI, or OneStream.
- Background in testing analysis of business initiatives.
