CP Skin Health Group is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations, maintain the integrity of the General Ledger and strengthen the organization’s controls environment. They will also manage various Colgate Business Services activities, as well as budgeting and controlling fixed expenses for the organization. What you will do:
- Manage, directly or indirectly, team members supporting General Accounting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and Personnel expense accounting
- Maintain a system of controls, policies, and procedures over month-end activities
- Budget, analyze and control fixed expenses, including personnel and payroll expenses
- Review monthly accruals and collaborate with Finance and other team members to ensure expenses are properly accrued
- Approve journal entries, as allocated, and sign off on related balance sheet account reconciliations
- Manage the corporate card program, including liaising with the team issuing/canceling cards and ensuring monthly expenses are fully accrued
- Manage lease accounting activities on an as-needed basis
- Ensure consistent application of expense recognition across all entities as per Colgate Financial Policies
- Review the monthly income statement and balance sheet analytics
- Collaborate with the financial planning and analysis team on the month-end close process and related analytics and reporting
- Provide excellent internal customer service by proactively managing escalated issues and bring them to resolution
- Ensure that the month-end close controls are in place and operating effectively
- Manage and coach the Accounts Receivable Manager
- Support the global tax teams in ensuring the organization operates in compliance with
- Implement a continuous improvement mindset with the local and CBS teams to identify and address opportunities to increase operational efficiencies and effectiveness
- Collaborate with the internal controls teams to ensure compliance with SOX and other Audit-related requirements met
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or Finance-related field
- 6 - 8+ years of experience in corporate general accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable operations
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of GAAP, accounting operations, general ledger accounting, financial reporting and analysis, internal controls and audit
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (macros, Vlookups, pivot tables, etc.) and Google Business Apps
- Experience with people management, employee relationship building and leading teams to achieve high levels of performance
- Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s Degree and/or formal Accounting qualification
- Previous relevant experience withSAP
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $115.000,00 - $160.000,00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws.
