What will the Senior Accounting Manager will do?

• Manage and reconcile all accounts monthly
• Manage a team of 2 staff (Sr. Inventory Specialist and AR Specialist)
• Oversee accounting operations of purchasing and sales departments
• Issue non-trade, credit and debit memos to customers.
• Liaise with the financial controller in creating and providing monthly financial statements as well as preparing for yearly audits and budget reporting.
• Report on daily general ledger bank balances for all companies.
• Monitor the work of the supporting staff by providing guidance and support to the accounts payable/receivable clerks and receptionist.
• Use SAGE or Microsoft Dynamics

What background is needed for the Senior Accounting Manager position:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration preferred
• 2 + years management experience
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus but not required.
• Food distribution or agricultural industry exposure is a plus but not required.
